Set 1000 years before Seekers of the Strange and Chains That Bind, the setting has a more Bronze and Iron Age flavour. Aisling is a shifter Circle of Stars druid, belonging to the Rionnag clan - a people inspired by the Celts and Picts. She has a genetic anomaly that runs through the families in her clan, which causes her to be sensitive to light, but able to see the flow of magic through objects and people under starlight.
